Stephen Foley

Mr. Foley has been associated with the law firm since 1988. He concentrates his practice in administrative law, real estate finance and conveyancing as well as the trial of civil and criminal cases. He represents both injured parties and defendants in a variety of personal injury cases including catastrophic injury cases and wrongful death arising out of motor vehicle accidents, unsafe premises and defective products. Mr. Foley has tried numerous criminal cases, zealously representing clients accused of motor vehicle offenses such as driving under the influence of alcohol and driving to endanger as well as criminal assault and batteries to more serious offenses including aggravated rape, usually with excellent results for his clients.

Mr. Foley was employed as an Assistant District Attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office for seven years. While employed as a prosecutor, Mr. Foley was responsible for the prosecution of a wide range of criminal matters including motor vehicle offenses and misdemeanors involving violence, drug distribution and property destruction arrests. He is the former supervising prosecutor of the West Roxbury District Court and supervising attorney for the jury session at the Boston Municipal Court. He concluded his employment with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office as a Superior Court prosecutor where he handled serious felony matters and tried cases to juries.
